Now that you know more abour body parts due to activities and your own search, we want you the next one:

  • Write a physical description using what you learn until now. You can describe a friend, a member of your family, your pet/s or you can describe yourself. You have to write al least 5 sentesces using have and has got, body parts (you cannot repeat it) and the adjectives you learn in this blog and by your own.
Leave your physical description below in the comment's section. In additon, you can share a photograph or  video pointing out the body parts you described. I'm hoping to see your descriptions.

Describing your body parts

Continuing with the previous lesson, We know that we use have got and has got to talk about relationships, possession/s, characteristics, etc.

Some examples below:

I have got two cats and two dogs.

He has got a car.

We have got a big TV in my house.

She has got a new boyfriend.

Together with the use of have got and has got, We can use adjectives to describe features and qualities of people, animals and things. In this case, We use it to describe body parts.

Some adjectives to describe body parts:

General description: Small, big, short, long, strong, delicate.

Head: bald , round.

Nose: straight, pointed, big, small, long.

Hair: long, short, curly, blonde, black, brown.

Eyes: all colours, rounded, big, small, oval.

Arms / legs: long, short, mulcular, strong, delicate.

How you can see, there are some adjectives to describe the parts of the body, but I invite you to search more adjectives and practice creating different kind of sentences. For example:

She has got long, curly, blond hair.

I have got pointed, big nose.

He has got a round, bald head.

My dog (It) has got strong, muscular legs.

They have got small, oval, blue eyes.

Adjectives = greenHave got = orangeHas got = sky blue

Now let's play kahoot! This is a quiz game where you will have to answer ten questions. Answer as many questions as you can correctly to get a high score!

Have got / has got

 Welcome back children!

In today's lesson we'll learn a little bit about the have got and the has got. We know that he, she and it are called "third person singular pronouns" and we use them when we are talking about people, animals and things. With these pronouns we use has got, and with every other pronoun (I, You, We, They) we use have got.

Here are some examples:

I have got a brother.

You have got a sister.
He has got a budgie.
She has got a dog.
It has got Bluetooth.
We have got CDs.
You have got a nice room.
They have got pets.

We can also use have got and has got to talk about the parts of the body (eyes, head, hands, mouth, shoulders, etc.). Remember that has got is used when we are talking on "thirds person singular pronoun" (He, She, It) and we use have got whit the other pronuons (I, You, We, They).

Here are some examples:

I have got two eyes.
She has got ten hand fingers.
It (dog) has got a tail.
We have got a nose.
They have got two knees.
He has got two elbows.

Now, we want you all to meet Melvin.

As you can see, Melvin is an alien.

In this activity you are going to complete Melvin's introduction using hve / has got and words relating to the body. Are your ready? Then let's start.

In this activity we are going to rework on the parts of the body that you know using a crossword. Are you ready? Do your best:
