In today's lesson we'll learn a little bit about the have got and the has got. We know that he, she and it are called "third person singular pronouns" and we use them when we are talking about people, animals and things. With these pronouns we use has got, and with every other pronoun (I, You, We, They) we use have got.

| They have got pets. We can also use have got and has got to talk about the parts of the body (eyes, head, hands, mouth, shoulders, etc.). Remember that has got is used when we are talking on "thirds person singular pronoun" (He, She, It) and we use have got whit the other pronuons (I, You, We, They). Here are some examples: I have got two eyes. She has got ten hand fingers. It (dog) has got a tail. We have got a nose. They have got two knees. He has got two elbows. |
